Delivering Performance

Perinvest, founded in 2001 by Jean R. Perrette, is an independent manager focusing on alternative strategies. We offer a diversified family of single manager funds, multi manager products and bespoke portfolio management. Our core investment objective is to deliver superior returns whilst controlling risk.

Selecting the few

Alternative strategies enable us to achieve our dual objective thanks to their flexibility and innovative management. We are able to create, develop and manage a family of funds, comprising some of the most reputable and best performing managers in this fast-growing industry, due to our extensive experience in the hedge funds field.

Developing Partnerships

At Perinvest, our belief is that our strength lies in the continuing long-term relationships with our managers. We believe that mutual trust is the key to sustaining higher performances over the years. The same principle applies with our Investors, transparency and confidence helps us to better serve our clients’ needs.

History

Perinvest was founded by Dr. Jean R. Perrette. Prior to starting Perinvest Dr. Perrette created the Permal Group (PERrette – MALlory) with Worms & Cie in the late 1960s and pioneered the multi-manager investment concept. With Permal, Dr. Perrette participated in the launching and monitoring of Haussmann Holdings, the first vehicle to offer offshore investors access to US-based hedge funds and was also one of the first to invest with George Soros in 1969.

Having left Permal, Dr. Perrette founded Perinvest in 2001. Perinvest was created to serve the specific needs of both its High Net Worth and Institutional Client base by continuing a tradition of crafting primarily a family of diversified single manager strategies and some multi manager funds predominantly within the offshore market.

At the end of 2007 Perinvest launched their Luxembourg based SICAV product (Perinvest (Lux) SICAV) under the UCITs directive to facilitate the needs of our European onshore client base.
